Each new patient appointment is approximately 45-minutes long. We tailor your experience around the primary concerns you have at the time of scheduling the visit.
When you arrive, we’ll have a few forms for you to complete (such as basic contact information and a medical history). Then, one of our dentists will personally greet you and escort you back to our clinical area.
Because our ultimate goal is to help you feel comfortable and relaxed, we customise the new patient visit by taking time to get to know you and discuss specific concerns you may have. But if you’re in a hurry, we can accommodate busy schedules as well!
After discussing your oral health and any questions you have, we perform a complete exam followed by a review of our findings and scale and clean x-rays any recommendations regarding treatment needs.
What to Bring with You
Be sure to bring a copy of your dental insurance or health fund card with you. All claims are filed on-the-spot through HICAPS. We also bulk bill with the Child Dental Benefits Schedule and Veterans’ Affairs. Flexible payment options allow for convenient financing on all services.
What if You Need Treatment?
At the end of your exam, our dentists will discuss their findings and advise any specific procedures needed to correct conditions like decay, missing teeth, etc.
During check-out, our receptionist will receive a list of recommended treatments and arrange your next visit. It’s up to you how quickly or spread out you want to complete the phases of care, if multiple procedures are needed.
